To celebrate our Summer of Fun campaign, our branches are kicking off the season by giving away a framed children’s 8ft Bestway pool (or equivalent) at the start of the summer holidays!

To enter, children up to the age of 16 can submit a drawing or painting, using whatever medium they wish, whatever size they wish, of their ‘perfect summer’s day’ to their local participating Watkin Davies branch (Cardiff, Newport or Ystrad) to be in with a chance of winning the pool.

Important: Please write the child’s first name and age, plus parent or guardian’s full name and contact number on the back of each entry prior to submission.

Each branch will choose their winner and display the artwork for all to see, to brighten up the high street and our social media feeds!

All entries need to be received by your local branch before 4pm on Monday 31st July 2023. The winner will be chosen at each branch on Friday 4th August, so your family could be enjoying the pool the first weekend of the school holidays.

Nobody goes away empty handed! All runners up will receive a prize too, so get your paints, pencils, charcoals, or crayons ready to draw your perfect summer’s day.

Terms and conditions for art competition:

• Children up to the age of 16 years old can participate.
• Child’s first name and age, plus parent or guardian’s full name and telephone number must be on the back of the artwork to be eligible.
• There is only 1 winner per participating branch selected by the branch team with final decision made by the branch manager.
• The winner will receive one Bestaway pool (or equivalent). You must be able to collect the pool up from the branch.
• The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available.
• Use of data: We’ll use the data to notify the winner. Details of how we will use the information we hold on you can be found in the Privacy Policy on our website www.aplan.co.uk/privacy-policy
• The competition will close at 4pm on 31/07/23 and the winner will be chosen and contacted after 10am on 04/08/23.
• The winner will be asked to partake in PR and/or use of photography for social media purposes.
• The competition can be withdrawn or extended at any time.
• The identity of the winner (winner parents name only) will be available from A-Plan after 04/08/2023.
